Gastons Road Annie

Annie at work in her home in Gastons Road creating traditional Malmesbury LaceAnnie Goodfield lived in Gastons Road, Malmesbury. She attended a lace making school, which the Countess of Suffolk and Berkshire founded in 1907.

Annie’s lace was selected to form part of the trousseau of Princess Alexandra. She demonstrated the art of lace making at the festival of Flowers held in Malmesbury in 1968.
