Beginning with a short talk in front of the Turner acquisition, we will walk around Malmesbury Abbey, stopping in some of the places where Turner made his exploratory sketches. Participants will have time to sketch at these iconic viewpoints using their chosen materials. To finish we will study all our sketches and discuss the contemporary artworks that can be created following this inspirational sketching tour.
Anne Hayhoe is a local Artist who encourages sketching in the landscape.
