It is nearly 40 years since Roger founded FOAM, he was on the NWDC committee before that and has been Chair, on and off, for over half that time. We owe him a huge debt of gratitude for laying the foundations for what has become an exceptional local museum. He oversaw the creation of the current museum within the Town Hall when it was renovated in 2009. Along with Angela and Bill Sykes he was a key instigator in the Rausing Building project in 2018/2019. He has vision and commitment. Roger is one of the Trustees of Athelstan Museum Malmesbury, where his knowledge and experience are invaluable. He has now decided that it is time to step down from the day to day running of the museum which means he will no longer be on the Museum Council. We believe he will still be in close contact nonetheless.
