Julian Richards is well known for his excellent TV presentation of Meet the Ancestors – including one from Abbey House Malmesbury. His stellar career as a leading archaeologist will be a gripping and engaging insight into our history and how it is still being revealed to us.
Julian’s life in the world of archaeology spans over 55 years (so far). In this talk Julian will explain where his fascination with the past began and why, after all this time, he still loves bringing the past to life. From Stonehenge, a lifelong passion, through BBC series like ‘Meet the Ancestors’ and ‘Blood of the Vikings’ to working with primary school pupils and a Turner Prize winning artist, it has truly been a Career in Ruins.
This is the first of our Special Events for 2026 – we anticipate High Demand for tickets – so please book early!
