Anne Goodyear uncovers the history of Malmesbury’s famous market cross from when it was built to it being hit by a bin lorry.
We hope to have associated artifacts on display from Athelstan Museum.
The talk will also look into the background to some of the carvings and statues on the market cross.
You may have walked past it many times but have you ever looked up?
Tea will be served from 2:30pm and the talk will begin at 3pm.
