Dr Phil Judkins tells the stories of the many roles undertaken by women in wartime, both WW1 and WW2, some better-known, some very unexpected and some almost unbelievable – except that they actually happened!
The women came from all walks of life, ranged from teenagers to grandmothers, were of all creeds and ethnicities, and fought their wars in every military service and as civilians. Come prepared to find everything you have been told about women’s roles in war to be disproved in an amazing series of true histories.
